One Action A Day
Seven days. Seven actions. One for every day of Mental Health Awareness Week. 11 to 17 May 2026
This year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme is action. Awareness matters. But awareness without action does not change much.
Across the week we are sharing seven small actions, one for each day. Each one is built around something already on this site: a guide, a story, a conversation tool. The actions are small. The point is that you take one.
Day 1
Monday 11 May
What no one told us
Mental health, poor mental health, and mental illness mean different things. Learn what each one looks like, and why this matters for the Black community.
Day 2
Tuesday 12 May
Name what you are feeling
Anxiety does not always look like what you would expect. Download our free guide to recognising the signs.
Day 3
Wednesday 13 May
Start a conversation
The hardest conversation is often the first one. Our #TimeToTalk guide gives you practical ways to check in on someone you care about.
