Black Minds Matter is a charity that I hold close to my heart as I was fortunate enough to receive 10 therapy sessions for free through them. I was matched with a black therapist who was perfect for me.
“In January 2020 I lost my big brother Reuben to suicide. Since then I've found myself reckoning with the reasons why this happened, I continue to go through the motions of grief, telling myself I could've done more, feeling anger towards myself, others and blaming my loss on the lack of resources and support for young people, especially for young black men.
